Carlo Schiattarella has over 30 years of experience with charter school facility development, financing, charter school startup, and operations. As the founder of Schoolhouse Project, he led the development of over $400 million in mostly out of the ground school facilities in New York City (Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan); Yonkers, NY; Trenton, NJ; and Jersey City. Previous to Schoolhouse Project, Mr. Schiattarella worked with individual charter schools and management organizations in multiple cities throughout the United States responsible for new charter school approval, budgeting, financing, and startup operations. He led the founding of the AECI Charter School Network located in the South Bronx and is the current Board President.

Mr. Schiattarella earned a Master's Degree from Columbia University in Public Policy and Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Broadcast Journalism from New York University.
